About NMAM Institute of Technology

NMAM Institute of Technology admission is currently underway for BTech programmes. Candidates who want to take admission will have to obtain a valid score in KCET 2024. The exam has already been concluded for this year and the provisional answer key is published. To evaluate the chances of admission, candidates can check for the provisional answer key and raise objections till May 7, 2024. Based on objections rectification, KCET 2024 final answer key is to be published on May 10, 2024 (tentatively). According to the latest notification, the KCET 2024 result will be released on May 20, 2024.

NMAM Institute of Technology is a private institute located in Udupi, Karnataka. The institute was established in the year 2006 and is approved by the AICTE. NMAM Institute of Technology is also accredited by NAAC. Spread across an area of 46 acres, the institute has a faculty strength of 261.

NMAM Institute of Technology courses are available at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The institute offers 4 programmes in engineering, management, and computer applications stream. At the UG level, the institute offers BTech programme in various specialisations such as computer science, biotechnology, civil, mechanical, electrical, etc. While at the PG level, MTech, MBA, and MCA courses are offered.

NMAM Institute of Technology admission to its courses is done either on the basis of an entrance exam or merit in the qualifying exam. The institute accepts different state level and national level entrance exams for admission. For BTech, KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ JEE Main is accepted. For MBA, CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ Karnataka PGCET is accepted. Karnataka PGCET/ GATE is accepted for MTech and admission to MCA is done through Karnataka PGCET score.

The final answer keys will be available on May 10, 2024 tentatively with KCET 2024 result to be released on May 20, 2024.

NMAM Institute of Technology admission process is based on both merit based and entrance based. The institute shortlists students for BTech admission on the basis of the KCET/ COMEDK/ JEE Main exam. Other exams accepted for NMAM Institute of Technology admission include GATE/ Karnataka PGCET for MTech, CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ Karnataka PGCET for MBA, and Karnataka PGCET for MCA. Candidates who qualify for these exams are allocated seats through respective exam counselling. Apart from this, some of the seats at NMAM Institute of Technology are also reserved for management quota to which selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

The college has conducted intercollegiate 1-day workshop on IOT project using Intel GalilioBoard in Jan, 2015. 50 participants from Institution in and around the district participated. This has provided visibility and recognition to Intel activities in the college.
